Press office

Founded by Giulia Di Giovanni in 2012, GDG Press is an integrated communication and press promotion agency, specialized in the music and cultural events sectors. GDG Press was born with one ambition: to promote projects of high cultural and artistic quality. Today the agency is also composed by Alessandro Gambino, Michela Rossetti, Giulia Zanichelli and Ilenia Visalli.
Gdg Press works with important national and international festivals such as Romaeuropa Festival, La Francia in Scena (the artistic season of Institut français Italia and the French Embassy), Villa Ada – Roma Incontra Il Mondo, Roma Jazz Festival, Artcity (a project organized by Polo Museale del Lazio), Spring Attitude – international festival of electronic music and contemporary culture, Barezzi Festival in Parma, Sponz Fest, directed by Vinicio Capossela, in Irpinia, Ariano Folkfestival, Festa di Cinema del Reale in Puglia, Just Music Festival in Rome, Flux – Lithuanian Arts Festival in Rome, Apolide Festival in Turin, Cittadella Music Festival in Parma, Short Theatre in Rome and many others.
GDG Press promotes and promoted italian and international musicians such as MYSS KETA, Generic Animal, Teho Teardo, Vinicio Capossela, Daniele Silvestri, Massimo Zamboni, Massimo Volume, Giardini di Mirò, Gianni Maroccolo, Ginevra Di Marco, Colapesce, Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino, Andrea Laszlo De Simone, Tutti Fenomeni, Fatboy Slim, Wilco, Bombino, Tony Allen, Dubioza Kollektiv, Bon Iver, Vampire Weekend, JP Bimeni, the Mediterranean Women’s Orchestra Almar’à, Aeham Ahmad and many others.
Gdg Press works together with different roman cultural realities such as Officina delle Arti Pier Paolo Pasolini, a cultural hub of Lazio Region, and the Palladium Theatre of University of Roma Tre. It also collaborated with the contemporary art gallery White Noise Gallery and was responsible for the promotion of the exhibition on 40 years of street art “Cross the streets” at MACRO museum in Rome, as well as the first solo show in Rome by the American artist JonOne and the exhibition “Nirvana” by the artist Desiderio at Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan.
Gdg Press has also curated editorial projects such as the novels “Appalermo, Appalermo” and “Malùra” by Carlo Lo Forti (Baldini&Castoldi), “Il Buio” by Francesco Bennardis (Sensibili alle Foglie), “Un mondo raro” by Antonio Di Martino and Fabrizio Cammarata (La Nave di Teseo).
